The Beerhouse, Bury St Edmunds

Without doubt the best new pub in town, went in on a friday night and was heaving!, serving 7 real ales and a few from the cellar. Nice atmosphere and not full of youngsters on the way to the nearby club, also a really good mix of young and old people alike, after speaking to the landlord(who was really into his beer for his age!) was informed of a micro being installed in the spring. Hope they keep it up! Good luck to them!

The Encore, Stratford upon Avon

from the outside a real improvement from the outside, there was a choice of TT Landlord or Purity UBU, asked for a landlord and was shocked to see that in betwen changing the barrels they did not flush the lines. Then presented with a pint of something that resembled ditchwater, just gos to show that the cask mark means very little

The Beerhouse, Bury St Edmunds

i just heard that the ipswich arms is coming back with a new name 'the beer house' going to be an ale house brewing their own beer and having like 6 guest ales on at a time may prove quite intersting, a breath of freash air in bury i think.

The Bunbury Arms, Great Barton

went there on a sunday evening around six nice and quite but was soon disapointed by the slow service and the dissapointing carvery, i have been to the bunbury a few times and i think it may have changed hands as the food was nowhere near as good as the past, the veg was rock hard the gravy was thin and the meat selection poor, i hope they pull there socks up because its a real nice pub hate to see it go down the drain.
