NOT A VERY NICE BAR FOR FRIENDLINESS, SO I ALONG WITH MY WIFE AND FRIEND'S WE WENT AND GOT A TAXI ALONG TO HIGH STREET AREA ,WHERE WE WENT INTO A BAR CALLED WEE JIMMIES WHICH SEEMED AS THOUGH MORE PEOPLE WERE TO BE INSIDE AND ALRIGHT WE HEARD, BUT ONCE SERVED FROM A WOMEN WHOM SEEMED PART INTOXICATED, WE WERE THEN PUT OFF BY A FIGHT WHICH DEVELOPED AFTER WE JUST HAD BEEN SERVED, NOT LONG AFTER SAY 15 MIN'S AFTER THIS, ANOTHER FIGHT BROKE OUT, WE NOTICED A DOOR-MAN HAD BEEN WORKING FROM THIS BAR (WHY ?) AND HE SEEMED AS THOUGH HE WAS MORE THAN HAPPY ABOUT THE ENSUING SCUFFLE, SO WE DECIDED TO LEAVE THE PREMISES AND COWDENBEATH, WE WONT GO BACK INTO THIS TOWN AGAIN.

THE GOTH IN COWDENBEATH IS HANDY FOR THE RAILWAY STATION WHICH IS THE ONLY PLUS SIDE, AS THIS BAR IS SMELLY + BAR STAFF UNFRIENDLY, IF THE GIRL WHOM WORKS BEHIND THE BAR SMILES TO YOU, THEN YOU ARE THE 1ST PERSON THIS HAS HAPPENED TO, NOT THE NICEST OF PERSON SERVING BEHIND THE BAR, ALSO THE DRINK ALTHOUGH CHEAP, IS WORTH A VISIT FROM THE TRADING STANDARDS AS U DONT GET THE REQUIRED AMOUNT, ALSO NO ENTERTAINMENT OF ANY TYPE WHATSOEVER IN THIS BAR, PLUS THE GLASSES ARE NOT CLEANED AT ALL PROPERLY, MOST PROBABLY WHY THIS BAR ONLY HAD AROUND 3 PEOPLE INSIDE, WHOM LOOKED AS IF THEY HAD JUST SOMEHOW STEPPED OUT FROM THE MORGUE, BEST TO AVOID. THE WORST TOWN IVE ENCOUNTERED ON MY TRAVELS TO SCOTLAND.

Was never a friendly place Dunfermline + i was born + raised there, very cliquet the whole town + Fifers dour people, i much prefer outsiders + English people to the a lot of Scots.

Sorry bout price in tappie toories but it was in the pub across road called The Creepy Wee Pub where i was charged �2.50p for the vodka + coke draught coke at that, plus bar staff were not very polite.

Very busy bar, has large bar downstairs all way round the pub, upstairs �3.75p for a 3 course lunch before 3pm on Sat afternoons a good buy, also a bar in restaurant area upstairs.

Was in this bar + was looked at with suspicion, although a Celtic fan i just did not like there Bigoted ways in this bar, also why a Shamrock taking up the whole ceiling ? is this in Scotland ? or a part of southern Ireland ? anyhow they all are born + bred in Glasgow but support Southern Ireland all catholic Bigots + i was a protestant Celtic fan all my life but no more as cant be bothered wqith the bigoted memorabilia which should stay in ireland, its not wanted in Scotland remember. No way id go back here again. Also beer was flat as soon as served, and also got a vodka taken from next to me at the table from an elder man whom was sitting nxt to a local + he was adamant it was his + very cheeky with it, he was already the worse for wear but they all are in here, i just left + worst pub + not very friendly towards outsiders, if u aint a local Glaswegian Bigot then stay away.

Was in this bar once, but wouldnt go back, the karaokee is taken up by locals only + the place is a Dive anyhow.

Was a Dive before it was taken over + tried it but still a Dive sorry but wont go back.

Not very good, found the people unfriendly + bar staff also unfriendly, very expensive and i was charged �2.50p for a single vodka + coke no way im going back.

Not a very nice bar as in most Dunfermline bars the locals are very unfriendly + dont speak to you also bar staff cant smile, not a nice bar + i was in recently, wouldnt go back, also pricey.

Oh sorry but forgot to say the bar staff mainly are all like Heavy weight Wrestlers all mainly are Lesbians whom work behind the bar.

This place isnt very nice at all so anyone really it's not very nice thats all ill say here as nothing good i can say. bye, bye.

Very dour bar staff, and manager also very dour if he laughed his face would crack, seriously there's no atmosphere what so ever in this bar, i wouldnt recommend what so ever, will never go back again. anonymous.

This pub is run by a bigot whom works behind the bar serving wearing a rangers football top often, also has got his bar with rangers memorabilia on the walls as well as tables + chairs red, white, and blue, and i would not go back to this bar again, as to many sectarian songs + but ive heard it's now closed down about time i add.

The Fountain, Cowdenbeath
While in Cowdenbeath i met the worst bar of them all while in Cowdenbeath you would be doing well to leave out
"The Dunvegan Bar" which is just over the road from the Fountain, dont go into the Dunvegan Bar in Cowdenbeath as it's the biggest Dive iv'e ever encountered in the whole town.
And bye that i mean the clientele whom shout / swear obscenitie's in front of the women if u want to call them that ? Whom work behind Bar.
I'f you happen to be a Catholic then wise to keep it to yourself, as i noted this is a bar full of Ranger's football Bigot's, whom i heard shouting while all intoxicated shouting (Fenian Bastard's) in fact anything anti-Celtic football club + just for the sole reason they could not find anyone of a Catholic persuasion to cause any trouble with, also shouting King Billy + anti - Celtic Football club songs also, you are doing well to avoid THE DUNVEGAN BAR in Cowdenbeath. I myself do not support any particular Scottish side as i just happened to be passing through the town on my travels along with my Wife + friend's while in Fife + found this Bar worse even than the other's + that took the biscuit.
