suggest you give it a visit as the current owners have restored it back to its former charm

This could be a real good pub. However I have got to agree with Boozeyfloozys coments regarding the landlord.
I think he must have been expelled from charm school.
Food is cheap and cheerful and its a good pub to go to watch the football, after that there is not a lot going for it. Mainly down to the landlord and his attitude.
I haven't heard anyone say anything positive about this guy.

The Continental Pub, Preston
what a breath of fresh air.
the current owners have done a great job and are putting on a range of alternative events which promise to keep the pub popular.
good range of ales.
