I have responded ! The review that starts with the word amazing, the review that thanks you, the final arbiter ! What more do you want ? Surely you can see it can't you ? I don't really feel like introducing myself, after seeing that mob outside the Mitre for a few months. It seriously put me off from going in there even though they appear to have gone. I agree with you almost entirely about the Glastonbury pubs, near uninhabitable.....

Yes, definitely OK. A really good old fashioned oub, no carpets, old floor boards, the regulars remind me of the floor. Incredibly good live music sometimes ! No food, just good beer. I definitely like it. Even the staff seem way above average, intelligent witty, helpful the lot ! Chas the landlord is excellent...BUT ! The female that is to do with the landlord is absolutely awful. She seems to just plain hate absolutely everyone regardless. Everything about her is a downer, the only time it smiles is when something bad happens, or if she hears something bad. She definitely gives out inaccurate dates for the music so that you miss it. The negatives of this person in my opinion are endless.....As I said, particularly good pub apart from her.....

Amazing ! I communicated with, "The Final Arbiter", and to my surprise, he agreed with my views on the "mob". Then to my further surprise, he told me that he would try to rectify the situation. Well, to my really further further surprise, NO MOB !!! Let's hope it stays like that......(I might even go in there again)

Horrible mob of yobs outside the front door the whole weekend. Absolutely ridiculous. Drink good, food good ? Who cares, get that hideous mob of morons out of it ! Other people would like to get in ther maybe ?

Well, is it me, or is there really a large mob of what can only be described as middle aged thugs near permanently outside the front door of the Mitre ?
No, I'm not imagining it, they really are there. Blocking the door so no one can get in or out properly. Many many people are saying this about the Mitre, and many many people will not go there because of them. There's a garden out the back...Get out there !

This bub used to be great. The landlord was often quite rude, but you muddled through with him. Then he got a new, "woman"...The pub is now near permanently empty. The new landlady is so rude the whole thing is ridiculous. You can't really think of this place now as hospitable, welcoming or anything that a pub should be.
