The Old Monkey, Manchester

This Pub i was in in june 2007 from Fife in Scotland, was good beer + cheaper than in Scotland (why) but (Halves) are dear compared to Scotland, though im a Celts fan take note rangers fans whom intend to go shortly for uefa cup final, it's handy for bar practically next to it which is to me even better + id make it my local if i stayed their "The Grey Horse Inn" better pub, toilets small are actually outside, just like pissing against a stone wall lol but a good bar, i remember speaking to bloke from Liverpool in here, also a couple whom were ok, came over to speak to me, from Rochdale they said, bloke had an ipod so let me listen to a song on it from one of my fav artistes on it, only one thing believe it or not was this tall say guy about 6ft 5" came over to bar beside me prob worse for the drink, was a bit awkward sais i cannot understand the Scottish accent, really coming from a Geordie, i just laughed. Anyhow it takes all kinds eh LOL, but a gd pub.

The Vine Inn, Manchester

I TRIED THIS PUB WHILE I WAS DOWN FROM SCOTLAND BACK IN SEP 2007 + IM GONNA GIVE IT ANOTHER TRY, HAD WE PRACTICE FROW EH THE DARTBOARD ALTHOUGH IT WAS NEEDING TO BE FIXED TO THE WALL BETTER, HAVING SAID THAT I ENJOYED IT OK + BELIEVE IT CAN BE A FRIENDLY BAR, THE STAFF WERE FRIENDLY, IT'S JUST THAT I THINK SOME PEOPLE GET THE WRONG IMPRESSION OF US SCOTS AS WE ARE NOT ALL DRUNKS, SO GIVE US A CHANCE, AS I IN PARTICULAR JUST LIKE A FEW AT THE WEEKENDS THE SAME AS MOST PEOPLE. AND ILL BE BACK SOON SO IF U HEAR A STRANGER AT THE BAR JOIN IN + HAVE A CHAT AS THAT'S WHAT BEING FRIENDLY IS ALL, ABOUT WE ALL ARE ONLY IN THIS WORLD ONCE SO MAKE THE BEST OF IT + HAVE A WE LAUGH IN BETWEEN EH. TAKE CARE MANCHESTER FOLKS YOU ARE OK.
