The Woodmans Stroke, Rothley

Full of visiting hooray henrys! (and a nice bunch of locals)

The Turkey Cafe, Leicester

This place really doesn't know what it is! Originally built as a Cafe in the 1920's it's got a beautiful facade which has been given a preservation order.

Always empty! Convert back to a Cafe and it'll work.

Dog and Gun, Keyham

Shame on the locals! This pub - Everards, was shut for a long time for renovations. Finally re-opened last summer. Gone is the old smelly pub, gone is the typical Everards pub food, and unfortunately, gone (well almost) are the two lovely tenants. They decided to do upmarket food which was brilliant! However, no one can rely on weekends to survive. The locals deserted the pub! The couple are to leave in May.

What a waste!

Dixie Arms Hotel, Market Bosworth

Friendly family run pub. Good food. Cellar restaurant.

Counting House, Freemans Park

The place to be if you like the company of yobs, nearly-rights and noise. Couldn't get out quick enough!

Cafe Bruxelles, Leicester

Used to be Leicester's prime bar/restaurant. Over recent years, it's gone down hill. Horrible tables and chairs. Ankle biters obviously welcome!

Blue Bell, Hoby

Was great before it burnt down. It's now been "Everarded'" and has lost all it's atmosphere. No longer a 'local' more a food factory serving typical pub fodder. Very disappointing.

Anne Of Cleves, Melton Mowbray

Olde Worlde atmosphere. However, they are a bit up their own ar.e. Overpriced.
