The Junction, Pudsey

Another pubco boarded up. It's about time these PubCo's got their act together and do what they are supposed to do and that is run a pub to the benefit of the communities

The Owl, Leeds

Always a minimum of 6 real ales on from various brewers. Good live music Friday Saturday with home cooked food. The beer is always in tip top condition. Leeds Pale is a regular and very enjoyable in this weeks hot weather. Music and Beer 3day Festival in August when numerous beers are on.

Currently has the shutters up.

The Brown Cow, Keighley

On good authority this pub will be having new mine hosts that are from the Prince of Wales in Leeds. The high standards will therefore be kept, if not improved.

The Boltmakers Arms, Keighley

Always make this my waterhole when visiting the KWVR. Can't add anything to the comments already made. Still good

Prince Of Wales, Leeds

Re-opened a couple of weeks ago which is good news. Not had a chance to call in yet, but is on the things to do list.
As an aside, does this count to the nett figure of 'pubs closing' or is that what it is just the closing bit and doesn't take into account the many pubs that DO re-open after a temporary blip while a new tenant is appointed? Just a thought

The Mill Lane, Bradford

Like the previous reviewer called because i'd never been before. Friendly welcome and spoilt for choice on the beers available. Tried a blueberry fruit beer and very enjoyable on a warm day. Music festival coming up. Must call again.

Whitelocks, Leeds

Called again Sunday and the chice of beers is back on with Skipton and Saltaire brewers featured as well as the favourites of Deuchers, J.Smiths and Theakstones. All in 8 hand pulls. Never fell out with this place, but back on the must call list.

Whitelocks, Leeds

Called in the other day and very few hand pulls available, Theakstons being the main with Deuchers and John Smith the others. Hope this is temporary and not a trend.
