Yes sometimes the staff are a bit unsmiling but I have never had a problem with short measures. I think that if its Ale sometimes its a bit frothy and may need a top up but I can't see that they would have a problem with that. I run a pub and mine don't. And we teach the staff to serve with a head as otherwise it looks flat.

This is a nice pub for lunch or an early evening drink. A bit busy on a Friday but we have always been told of any wait that there is. I think some of the reviews are a bit harsh. I would do and do go back here a lot.

The Old Star, Westminster
This is an o.k pub but they could use dimmers as a bit too in your face with the lighting. I would go in again but only if passing.
