Be watchful of the workers behind the bar if you are paying by card. My card was swipped twice. The place is over-rated with poor service and expensive drinks.
Quite up its own back passage, but not quite on a par with the Waterway.

Unfortunately this has always been a second rate pub and will continue to be as there are much better pubs to go within a few minutes walk (Warrington or The Clifton for example).
The landlord or Enterprise Inns should try and convert it to a Sainsburys local or other national small supermarket area. It would improve the area and the local community are crying out for it.
It is currently closed and hopefully the above is happening - good luck to the operators if they continue its current use...
