The Old Mill House Inn, Polperro

Not sure if I have just been in on "off days" but I'm not impressed with this pub. The ales were not in good condition (cloudy), the food was decidedly average, seemed to be more staff than locals (not that there was that many staff) and you could cut the atmosphere with a knife. Not the Old Mill that I remember.

The Noughts and Crosses, Polperro

Glad to see this pub open again. The new people in here seem to be keeping the rowdyness under control which has to be a good thing. The beers seem to be kept well, the staff seem, polite? the food at the moment is average but it seems there are plans to make this better.

The Blue Peter, Polperro

Thankfully, there are quite a few comments left by people who are not in the clutches (and EX employ) of a desperate publican in the village and have left some true and descriptive comments on one of the best pubs in Polperro. The staff always seem welcoming, the beer is kept to perfection and the atmosphere is just how a pub should be.

Bearing in mind that this site is open to the entire planet, can we please stop slating this wonderful village and the pubs in it? Itreally does no good what-so-ever.
