Found the Trotters at last - 20 years too late - I could have spent the last 20 years in the best pub around. Why does anyone want any more than this - apart from the accountants who foist the likes of Witherspoons on us! Long may Jim and Amelia be there.

I agree with bessissmith - if you enjoy wasting money come here. Before the refit was a good place.

The George has now opened a new rsetaurant area in the pub complex called 1760 serving pasta and pizza. Ate there last week - excellent value for money, excellent tasting food well presented and well served in most relaxing surroundings.

Now reopened with new owners. Excellent alterations so far - more coming. Superb range of real ales, wines and food. A good place to visit.

To walk into a pub and the landlord says "hi, Oggie, usual?" is great. For this to happen after not visiting for 16 years is magical. Richard and his team run a most fantastic local.

The Pack Horse Inn, Highbridge
A pub with good food - real home made chips to start with. The people eating and drinking are from all ages and all mix in - a great pub with good beer.
