The Globe Inn, Weymouth

we moved to weymouth in june this year and we tried many pubs to find what we could call a local. This 1 definitely came out on top. Although we must pass many other hostelries this 1 really is the best in weymouth (and there is a lot of choice). The gaffer is realatively new but he welcomes everyone and makes them feel comfortable and we now feel at home here. The barstaff are always friendly and they seem to know within a couple of visits what you want to drink which is what you want from a local isnt it?. The beer is excellant well looked after, the place is spotlessly clean, everyone seems friendly it has a free jukebox, we cant praise it enough. Whenever your in weymouth you must go in.

The Boot, Weymouth

i posted a review on 01/06/2010 saying i thought this was the best in weymouth. I have since moved here and unfortunately i no longer think this. The new manager is quite surly (although the ale is still as good). Even though we frequented the place regularly we are never given the impression the staff knew who we are. Whilst we dont expect them to fall at your feet, some sort of acknowledgement would be nice. But we found somewhere else to drink regularly in weymouth and after just a couple of visits all the staff know what we drink and the ale is just as good. I'm sure people will disagree with this opinion but its just what we found over the last 6 months since we moved down here.

The Boot, Weymouth

without doubt the best pub in weymouth. Its a proper pub no tv, jukebox, fruit machines etc. The beer is superb what more can you say

Boho Bar, Weymouth

what a great place we found this bar in september 09 mainly because they sell peroni on draught but besides that its a brilliant place to go for a start of a night or to stay

O'Neill's, Birmingham

my girlfriend and myself cant think of anything decent to say about this place it is without doubt the most vile place on broad street and thats saying something considering the rubbish thats here. The barstaff are at best useless at worst totally incompetent. The doormen are total jobsworths and as for the beer it is totally undrinkable which is probably the worst thing you can say about a pub. But i would not recommend this hovel to my worst enemy and we have been in some awful places.
