The Pilot Boat Inn, Lyme Regis

It was good find this pub/eatery so near to the front that welcomed our two whippets .The Palmers 200 was find, two out of the three meals were Ok but unfortunately I dont know what went wrong with the suet pudding ,it was awful even though we had to wait a long time for it to arrive and they weren't that busy.

The Volunteer Inn, Lyme Regis

A very friendly pub made us and the whippets feel at home ,we were on holiday, barman quite chatty and two of the locals gave us the lowdown on the place and it's history. The best one we visited during our stay in Lyme .Oh yes they had a good selection of real ale and cider,I didnt like the beer with no name (Donegal).but the local Town Mill best and Dartmoor Jail Ale were excellent.

Very freindly place managed to find it somehow after wandering around cabot circus trying to find a eatery.Good food pity about the lack of sausages but my steak sarnie was very nice. Oh yes the beer was excellent I had the Teignworthy Old Moggie a lovely hoppy beer @ abv 4.4%.Only had tlme for a couple before back to the shopplng.Would definitely go there again when next in Bristol.
