George Inn, Alfriston

Pleasant atmosphere. My wife and I both fancied a light lunch so ordered
welsh rarebit. It was horrible! The rarebit was drowned with Worcester Sauce, and was served on a huge chunk of bread. The presentation put us off, even before tasting it. Both of us left the majority of our lunch. Very disappointing!

Seven Stars Inn, Robertsbridge

Very friendly. Good Harveys beer. An enjoyable, reasonably priced lunch.

The Crown, Shillington

Visited two weeks ago on a Monday. We were very disappointed. Service was very slow, though friendly. Beer acceptable. Food was dreadful. Meal appeared to be previous days left-overs. My wife's omelette was overcooked and burnt. Very poor value for money. Would only visit again under protest.

The Jolly Topers, Luton

Visited two days ago. Admittedly, beers are Greene King only,.... but....we were treated with courtesy and friendliness, and food was reasonably priced and excellent. Have been here many times, and am very impressed.
