Had to try again,i did not think it could get worse but alas i was proved wrong.ABSOLUTLEY TERRIBLE!!!!The beer they had on was passable(tribute a good beer when kept well)but the tables where sticky and surly staff who appeared to be more interested in texting than the customer.Someone from St Austell should do a spot check to see how bad it can be.

Yet again the Island delivers a superb pub loads of very well kept ales and hearty well priced grub just the place you need when you've had hard day in the pits

The Glue Pot (Castle Arms Hotel), Castletown
A great pub that is must visit when on the island,i am a licencee myself so tend to be fussy over my beer and neaver had a bad pint of Oakels in here yet.All staff are good fun and polite

Rock Inn Bar and Bistro, Rock
Just reopened after complete refurb,even better balcony than before and sme superb views!!!Deffo worth a look.Ace cheesy chips!!!!!!!!
