The Cottage Inn, Bristol

It was not bread and cheese, it was a large portion of salad, pickles, good quality bread. Its people like Bob who have no clue about running a pub or restaurant. How do you think the food gets on the table? does it just jump from the suppliers shop? ever heard of staff? they need paying you know. Business rates etc etc. 6.00 for a good ploughmans is nothing. Grow up.

Ignore the review below, it is NOT expensive. had a ploughmans for 6 quid. Good boozer on the river serving pub food but doing it well.

The Plough Inn, Wrington

Had a good meal with my wife. She's vegetarian and had spinach, brie and caramelised red onion pancakes, I had Hake fillet with a prawn sauce from the specials board. Both were very good. The menu in general is good, not just basic pub grub that you seem to get in most pubs these days.
We had a bottle of Pino Grigio which was reasonably priced.
Overall, good. Am coming back for the Sunday roast which I hear from a friend is very good indeed.
