The Royal Oak Hotel, Cheadle

This pub looks very outdated, no atmosphere, bar staff are slow and the live-in residents look very outdated as well. There was a strong smell of damp and there seemed to be alot of flies around at the rear of the pub. Its supposed to be a 'hotel' but it doesn't serve food. Wetherspoons is only a half minute walk away from here, I would advise going to Wetherspoons instead.

Crown Hotel, Pwllheli

Best pub in Pwllheli, excellent food, serves a nice pint,pool room,smoking area at rear, friendly welcoming staff, also is a hotel with excellent room rates.

Master Potter, Cheadle

This pub serves a good variety of drinks at reasonable prices and is the best pub in cheadle with something different going on every night. The food is nice and at reasonable prices. The staff are friendly and courteous. The pub also has a heated part enclosed smoking area and a pleasant beer garden. A good all round pub.

The Burton Stores, Hanley

This pub may not have a pool table, may not serve food BUT it cannot be beaten for a nice pint and good fun loving company and the guy who runs the karaoke is second to none. The pub caters well for smokers with a reasonable roof terrace and outdoor area which is undercover. The staff are also friendly and in general is a good environment.
