The Earl of Chatham has a new landlord (from August 2008) who, it seems, doesn't like people!
Most of the regulars have gone elsewhere.
Still, at least you never have to wait at the bar!

New Managers (August 2008) seem intent in getting rid of all customers.
People are turning up expecting to get food only to be told the food is off (whilst they try to replace the sacked kitchen staff).
Mostly the locals have relocated.
Best avoided!
