The Bruce Tavern, Dunfermline

Sparky21, checked your comments page, you don't seem to like any pubs, you sound like a great bloke to go on a night out with! Do everyone a favour in future and drink in the hoose!

Raffles, Dunfermline

A tad unfair there Sparky, it's not so much a dive as having a lived in look, it has seen better days but it's a harmless old place at the bottom of the town for a quiet drink ot two, merits a 4 or 5 out of 10 there's way worse out there!

The Bank Bar, Alloa

The previous post hasnae a clue about pubs, basically he's talking oot his arse, The Bank Bar in Alloa is one of the cleanest, best kept pubs you are likely to find in this or any town!

The Sinclair Arms, Dunfermline

Used to called Sinky's but tried to go up-market hence to name change back to it's original name, cannae help it soul-less with nae atmos and nae character, woeful place to spend time. Too big, used to have live music on a Thurs, same acts week in week out, systematic of everything that's wrong with Dunfermline and Dunfermline folk, nae heart!

The Elizabethan, Dunfermline

Can take or leave it, does try to be all things to all men or women. Refurbished a couple of years ago, it's now all open-plan, lots of tellies, pool tables, tad characterless, bit of a slog to the next bar as it's slightly isolated.

Commercial Inn, Dunfermline

Very busy pub, that says a lot for it, as there are plenty more places to try, Dunfermline not being short of ale houses! Good choice of real ales as mentioned in previous posts, safe bar, never ever seen any trouble, not that sort of place, no jukebox, small tv on wall but it's more of a meeting place before moving on into the toun.
