Pubs in East Ham... there really isn't much of a choice but this is probably the best of a bad bunch. OK for a sunday lunch. Food is fine but, as mentioned, you will have to wait a while. Re. earlier reviewer's comment, I live in East Ham and yes, it is a cesspit! (Moving away soon.)

Being vegetarian, thought I'd try this place. Unfortunately, the pub lacked atmosphere and my meal was awful (the chips were oily and almost raw). Sat outside in the courtyard garden - hadn't been swept in ages - cigarette ends, rubbish and broken glass. The loo was dingy too. I'll head for a veggie restaurant next time.

Tafarn y Plu, Llanystumdwy
Loved this pub. Visited recently one evening - friendly, great choice of beer and good food cooked by the landlady - highly recommended.
