Was a great ' local' for years, but ruined by previous management, who drove away the regular boozers and old codgers, now full of chavs getting lagered.
Often have no bitter available, not the pub it was !!

Been using this pub regularly for a couple of years and despite not being the smartest pub in town and not easy to find, well worth a visit, especially when there is live music as the atmosphere more than makes up for the lack of real ales.

Great 'local' with good selection of real ales.
However, Management seem to hace reached their' comfort zone' and choice and quality of beers beginning to wane.
shame really as it is one of the best pubs in Gravesend.

Tried this for the first time over August BH weekend. Great decor and excellent selection of Real ales.
Shame about the atmosphere, or lack of it!!
Well worth a visit though and will give it another go.

The White Dog, Ewhurst Green
Visited the White Dog early on a Saturday evening and enjoyed a pint of Harveys and a terrific meal. Staff very friendly and helpful.
