well since the re vamp... the locals have walked and the new crowd have massed.. this bar is one jewel of the south,, it's always busy and the wondering dog "clarence" is always a pleasure to see... all in all a great pub, and i hear it's a privately owned chained with a few others dotted around, so if you know them... go there too as i feel they'll be just as good

i have one thing to say to armchair critics who imagine a place that they haven't been to is, get up, turn off the computer, leave your front door and visit this bar as i did (upon recommendation from this website) and you'll be greeted and treated as regular by staff and locals alike..
as i sat there enjoying a "beer in the evening" with my friends whilst jimi hendrix played we commented on the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. So when i was asked "anything else?"
I replied "Peroni please"

The Bishop, East Dulwich
this bar, a real jewell of the south, as a resident of east dulwich, i have to say this is by far the best pub on lordship lane.. the staff and the dog make it a pleasure to frequent. i hear the owner has also has snapped up a pub in the peckham rye area.. no doubt it will too be a winner
