nothing to worry about with the refurb it seems, looks impressive, it needed a tidy up, looks much nicer now

the large rude guy behind the bar should concentrate on his job rather than the games box he was so focussed on, and when we tried to get his attention he acted as if we were putting him out. some of the worst service i and my friends have ever received.

great little gem of a place, very small and homely, simon the landlord is brilliant and loves a chat. well worth a visit

I don't know what everyone is complaining about! This pub is great, my friends and i go there all the time, the bar-staff are friendly and we have become good mates with Paul the assistant manager who always is ready for a chat and a laugh. the beers are always good too, i think some people want the manufactured atmosphere of an all bar one!

Ridiculous pub. Prices withstanding, the service you get is deplorable. When I was here, two of the bar staff were more interested in getting themselves drunk behind the bar than in serving their customers, and the South African girl who actually finally served us looked and smelt like she hadn't washed in weeks. She smelt heavily of marijuana. Any management who fail to control their staff to this extent need shooting!
