The Porterhouse, Covent Garden

Extremely busy pub on 3 floors - good point is that it has lots of large tables able to seat groups of around 10. Bad point - the only bitter on tap was dreadful. If you visit, stick to bottled beer!. Beware, this place is mainly catering for the masses with an average age of 18-20.

The Nags Head, Covent Garden

Very busy pub - as you would expect in Covent Garden, serving McMullen's beers. Nothing special to warrant a second visit.

The White Lion, Covent Garden

Excellant choice of beers - I highly recommend the Timothy Taylors 'Landlord'. Good background music and friendly staff. Will visit whenever I am in Coveent Garden.

Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese, Fleet Street

This pub continues to serve good beer. Bar staff friendly, though if you want to eat you should try and book as it is still a big tourist destination for the city walking tours.

The Nell Gwynne, Covent Garden

Visited this pub on Saturday evening. It has a serious problem with the smell eminating from the gents toilet, which could do with a deep clean. Staff not very friendly so will not be returning.
