Had a delightful meal here on Sunday. Really good, delicious food at very reasonable prices. Very attentive server, cannot recommend this pub/restaurant enough. Would definately go back.

The Bear and Swan, Chew Magna

Nice food, but poor service. Had to wait 20 minutes after being seated before even being asked if we wanted a drink. Had to wait a further 10 mins to see the menu, as there is only one, on a chalk board, which goes from table to table. Try having more than one chalk board, so people aren't waiting!! Some people actually like to decide on their wine once they know what they are going to eat. Once we actually recieved our food, it was quite tasty, but just completed let down the entire evening by the service. They werent even particularly busy for a Saturday night.

The Pony and Trap, Knowle Hill

Didn't live up to all the hype, and expectations were not met. Very plain, uninteresting starter. Ordered two sirloin steaks at an expensive �16.50 each, which were not cooked as requested, and was very very fatty, much more so than a normal steak should be. Service was ok. All in all wouldnt bother going back to.
