Well worth walk from canal. excellently kept real ales, and good food amongst friendly locals

Had drinks there over a few days, beers were always good. All of the staff were friendly and attentative. Ate there with friends on Saturday night, all excellent.

Dec. 2012 prepared for Christmas. Still open with log fire and real Ales, good food, and bad jokes. Great!
