The King Harold, Leyton

the facts--
large pub
dry trade only
run by an irish landlady and leased from punch taverns

the good--
closest pub to leyton station
sizeable smoking area (prob of some benefit in warm weather)
lovely white dog belonging to the white landlady
affordable pool tables (subject to returnable deposit)

the bad--
home to a eclectic collection of oddball regulars of every color and age
surliest barmaid in waltham forest
passable jukebox
toilets were in a bit of a state during my visit
mediocre selection of real ales
lessee that drinks there (never a good sign)
