Food is good value and service quick and pleasant.

The Red Lion, Southampton

Visited early August 2006. Found it by searching on this site.

Scorching day outside but pub was cool and beer very good.

Bar staff friendly and knowledgeable.

Food was well prepared, presented and very large portions.

Recommend it.

Perfect for a sitting outside on a Summer's evening people watching, other than that would go elsewhere.

Great pub but for some reason when they decided to refurbish it they removed the juke box which was one of the two best juke boxes in London!!
