Its a dive bar. Sometimes its fun to go to a dive bar. Most of the time it isn't. Don't go here if you want to enjoy a beer.

The Porter and Sorter, Croydon

Service is snappy, they keep the drinks rolling even when its busy. Not much else, its a good convienent place to have a drink before moving onward to somewhere else.

The Cricketers, Croydon

I like it, and often go to the pub quiz (on Thurs, 9pm). Its a good local and the staff make just enough effort to remember you for it to be genuine.

The Glamorgan, Croydon

It is the type of place that I would like to love, but having gone there a few times now, I always walk away with a slightly bitter taste in my mouth (and it isn't the beer). The beer is good, the menu a bit extravagant and a little pricey, and the atmosphere is 1 part local pub, 1 part yuppie wine bar, 1 part gastropub.
