The Castlebar, West Ealing

This is the best bar in Ealing (albeit a wee bit off the beaten track). The cocktails are magnificent -the best I have had anywhere. The table service is great (means that you're not standing for ages at the bar waiting on cocktails) and I found the staff to be very friendly. The clientele is very mixed which gives the bar a nice ambience. The outside area is excellent for smokers and best of all (for nightclub mums like me) they let kids in too.Even better than Baroque was in the early days.

The Avenue, West Ealing

This is without a doubt the best place in the whole of Ealing. The cocktails are magnificent and not too expensive. The bar staff are really friendly and the decor is perfect. It's quite a bit off the beaten track so the clientele are pretty good too.It truly is a hidden gem.

The Grange, Ealing Common

Although I wouldn't call myself 'well to do' I am a parent and often struggle to find anywhere decent in Ealing. It's hard to get the right combination of somewhere that sells booze and lets kids in.However The Grange is just the job.It remains very child friendly whilst retaining it's pub atmosphere. The food was great ,the staff were very friendly and there was plenty of alcohol available!
