The Moon Under Water, Colindale

I've just started going back in after swearing never to darken the door again! I think the new manager is great, at least she's interested in what the customer wants, and the real ale is much better, I enjoy a good pint of ale and let's face it theres not many pubs about that you can get a decent pint in these days. My wife and I enjoy the steak night, great value, and recently much better quality. Hats off to the new manager, brave lady but seems to be doing the business. Keep up the good work and you'll be seeing me and my wife more often. Good Luck to you.

The Man in the Moon, Stanmore

Moved back to the area after a year and went to this pub for a pint. Must say I was very surprised. The place is really nice now, last time I was there I left because the clientelle were a little undesireable to be honest, but always enjoyed a pint of ale, and decided I'd give it another go. Glad I did, I can now go to my local knowing that I can get a good pint of real ale with my lunch, in a nice place with nice people and even sit and read my paper sitting on a comfy sofa, who'd have ever thought it. Well done Wetherspoons my faith in you is restored.

New Moon, Harrow

Went to this pub for the first time in a few months. Thought I was in a different pub, some of the staff are the same, which is nice, but theres a new manager and it shows. The atmosphere in there was great, and I had the choice of Cricket on SKY and football on the other screen. Tv is not in your face and could chat to my friends I hadn't seen for ages over dinner and still knew what was going on in the cricket. I must also add that I had the best pint of Marstons Pedigree I have had in a long time. Fantastic! I'll be coming back and bringing my family with me. What a lovely little pub. Well Done JD Wetherspoon.

The Tally Ho, North Finchley

looks like this pub is on the up! Yes it's old but that just adds to the character of the pub and characters that drink there. It has a nice atmosphere and yes a younger element at weekends but what pub hasn't? I think it's great. Its clean and its amazingly low prices, like all wetherspoon pubs, good food, good ale, what more could you ask? Particularly like the idea that the upstairs is non-smoking and downstairs for those who like a smoke! Worth a visit.
