this pub has went down hill since my last reveiw ,

I have left my old review from 2006 to show I am not working for for the pub .
The new manager has completely changed it the best pub in bathgate ,
my only complaint is is there should be a separate area for ordering food,you can be waiting 10 minutes when someone orders 4 meals and coffees and all you want is one pint.

a great pub just been refurbished ,the beer is good but pricey .

a pub I would not drink in ,not a great atmosphere full of very rough heavy drinking types ,

This is the best pub in Bathgate ,in the afternoon it full of old chaps having a drink, at night and the weekend it a younger group with a karaoke or a disco .
they also sell food and the beer is good ,but it a bit dear .

the service is the worst I've seen in any pub and the management don't seen to think it their job , I drink in it myself but only because it cheap

this will be the first wetherspoons I've heard of shutting down it had no lager left on Friday and it shut at 10.00 pm on the wedensday , it been empty for the last 6 months and I am not surprised with sour faced bar maid called Sharon working there !
