The Skinners Arms, Kings Cross

djw - My mate runs one of the 'Big' Fullers Pubs.

The Porchester, Royal Oak

This 'Pub' doesn't know what it wants to be. Cos its Youngs it thinks its gonna be a success no matter what. Management need a course in manners. And the Burgers, expensive for what they are. My friend, visiting the Country on business, wanted a Pub Meal. If he wanted a Burger he'd go to Hard Rock Cafe. Definately not homemade.

CELLARBUOY, The Skinners Arms is NOT a G/King Pub. Check it out!!!!! My mate runs a Pub and he says that he looks at tasting notes and ingredients from other Brewers and tries to have all his Ales varied. Like some dark, some golden & hoppy etc etc. He doesn't know who will like them and who won't. We all have different tastes. Those who don't like what they see can have London Pride. (In his Pub anyway.)

FYI djw, any good Landlord that offers a big variety of Real Ales by changing them constantly can't always know which ones are going to be good and which ones are going to be exceptional. Every real ale drinker I know likes to try different ones from all over UK. Offer constructive comments!!!

The Captain Kidd, Wapping

If 'ascotinny' thinks the Food is great, Taddy Lager was good and the first floor Dining Room is atmospheric then he must have moved here from the Moon. This once great Pub has been ruined by the Owner.

The Euston Flyer, Euston

This Pub is only busy cos of the location, Euston Road. Most Fullers Pubs are lovely but this is one I will never set foot in again.
I asked for a Pint of Stella and the Duty Manager served me. He picked up a Glass straight from the Drip-tray and started to fill it up. Problem was it was already half full with slops from the Drip-tray. Lucky I caught him. I would hate to think how often this goes on. This probably happens to all the poor tourists who use the Pub due to it's proximity to the Stations. God help our reputation abroad if this is what foreigners think a British Pub is like. STAY AWAY!!!!

The Cittie of Yorke, Holborn

Popped in as I love Sam's Pale Ale. I think the Manager needs a course in Manners. And I haven't got time to mention how bad the Food was. Pity, it should be a great Pub but with all the choice in the area I won't go back. I think people only go in Sam Smith's Pubs cos they are cheap. Anyone care to tell me what else they have to offer?

Been a regular here since I moved to a new Office in the area and what a difference the new change of Manager has made. You never knew what mood the previous Manager was going to be in, which was usually a bad mood! And a new Menu, fantastic!! A great selection of Ales. I can now drink here more often, I was getting tired of Shepherd Neame's products.
