The Blackfriar, Blackfriars

A pub lovers pub, a must visit on a day out in London. You will be charmed with the interior. Good beer and food but that comes second to the decor.

The Crown Inn, Churchill

One of the best pubs in Somerset, perfect for real ale lovers, a good selection and well kept. Bags of character and well worth a visit, if you can find it! If you like this pub visit The Seymour Arms in Witham Friary.

The Griffin, Frome

A proper pub, perhaps a little pretentious at times, but good beer most of the time. The clientele mixed, a bit cliquey, definately Guardian reading tendencies but don't let this put you off.
Good and lively local music scene, well worth a visit.

The Lamb and Fountain, Frome

The best pub in Frome. Packed full of character and indeed characters. All of the traditional pub games are available. The views over the town and surrounding countryside are wonderful. The choice of real ale is limited but one will do! I cannot rate this pub highly enough

The Seymour Arms, Witham Friary

Quite frankly one of the best pubs you will ever find. A pub lovers pub. I hope it remains unchanged for many years. It has all the nostalgia that many country pubs have lost, but none of it is contrived, 100% genuine. My only concern is for the future when the current owners move on, it must not be changed.

The New Inn, Eype

Turned up, after a long day travelling at 8.35pm, with two parties including 6 hungrey children, to be informed that they stop serving food at 8.30pm and we could go into Bridport or West Bay for fish & chips. Unfriendly and unhelpful landlord. The beer was good but not good enough to ever encourage me to use this pub again.
