The Tollemache Arms, Mossley

Should be a nice pub, it's pretty, has a small beer garden and a nice snug however...the cask beer (one choice) is not nice and the place seems to be kept open by the regulars of whom some are rude. The owners need to start caring and give the place some omph.

The Woodend Tavern, Mossley

The local beer they serve is well kept with Millstone making a regular appearance, however the range is poor with 2-3 pumps in permanent non-use. The food which was once ok is now greasy; the smell from the kitchen implies the fat isn't changed regularly enough. Real shame as the people who run it are nice and it should be a really good local eatery.

The Britannia Inn, Mossley

Vibrant pub with friendly locals, one of the much nicer pubs in Bottom Mossley but can get crowded on match day. Good range of beer and an ecclectic music selection thanks to an extensive collection being streamed. Where else would you hear Jive Bunny after Frank? Excellent pub food menu, well priced for those lazy occasions when you just can't be bothered to cook at home.

The Rising Sun, Mossley

Our favourite pub; lovely owners who keep the good range of ales well in warm surroundings. Perfect to have a pint of local brew whilst looking out over the valley. I only wish they opened a little earlier than 5:30 in the week.
