Always a busy pub, with a wide age-range of customers. Sometimes the staff can't seem to cope when it's busy - dirty plates and glasses left on tables for far too long. As wafflingdwarf pointed out, it's situated opposite the Parish Church of St John the Baptist, which makes a nice backdrop while watching the World (well, town) walk by. The beers are typical JWD, guest ales on draught along with what you'd expect to find - Strongbow and cheap lager etc. Unfortunately, it does attract a minority of 'dubious' clientele.

The Waggon and Horses, Halesowen
Always very popular amongst real ale drinkers. I believe the pub itself is actually two buildings that (many years ago) were knocked through. As others have pointed out, the floor quite obviously slopes and I don't think it has ever been redecorated since it was built (late 19th Century). I've only once visited the toilets, and as I recall they are outside the back door (not pleasant). No beer garden or car park.
Beerwise, Bathams is always on draught along with other guest ales and a few Belgian beers - Leffe, Kriek and Hoegaarden. There is also a tribute ale to a (popular) late member of staff.
In my opinion, an unsuitable pub for children.

The Hasbury Inn, Halesowen
A very 'tired' pub. No real bar area, and I felt no atmosphere. We've visited a couple of times early Saturday evening, and on the first occasion we were the only customers. Our second visit wasn't much busier. It benefits from a good car park, but despite cars being parked on there, the owners weren't in the pub, lol.
