Back working in Poole again, its such a nice town! Thought i would give the Nelson one more chance, its been decorated since last visit, not bad either, beer a little expensive, regulars outside as with everwhere, plenty of room outside good seating area, but then there is the staff, are they forced to work there what a miserable bunch, they are all scared to death of the plump scary landlady that was just returning from the Gym.
I will not be visiting Gyms in Poole lol

Well its the summe, back to try the pub, its worse believe it or not, where are all the people, is it the smoking ban i do not know, i self opionated fat landlady is still throwing wobbles, Poole is crap she was shouting at the top of voice, why is she there!
Off to the Hoy, a better pub, give this one a miss, this is a bad pub, badly run, a real shame.

I also did not get served at all, the owner i think was in the middle of throwing a massive fit when we went in there, she was verbally abusing some chavy kid behind the bar

Its a nice pub, but if you eat in the main part of the pub at the front, watch out for the freaks that either work or are getting a tatoo they dont mix with food, beers quiet good, bar staff are a good laugh, a really nice garden with not a lot out there.

What a nice pub, foods is the best on the Quay, but its very dark in the pub, beers good, staff are great

Its not great but its ok, strange locals, bog standard beer, foods not bad, toilets are about a mile from the bar.

The hardest pub in Poole to get served in, i have visited the place on five different occasions now, even when the place is empty its a job to get served, its such a shame, prime position no character what so ever,young kids behind the bar with no interest on the pub, my advice is try next door, there are lots in there that used to drink n the Nellie, a real shame!

I cannot see for the life of me how, this Pub charges what it does for all of its Beer, all of the Hall & Woodhouse pubs around the Quay are the same, go to Bournemouth or Weymouth, the price difference is very marked.
So if you want to pay over the top price for a poorly kept Tanglefoot, in a dirty badly run pub, with some of the worse toilets i have ever come across, then this is the place for you.
