The ban tavern was once a welcoming pub, now the staff are aloof. The food good but over priced and the beer is probably the dearest in the lakes.

On our visits to West Kirby we always make time to pop into the Moby Dick, and never have we been disappointed. Food fab, staff welcoming and it is a pleasant change to find clean toilets, quite a rarity in pubs these day!

The smell of this pub makes not want to stay more than 5 minutes!
