The Evening Star, Brighton

This pub is a Brighton institution and has a large collection of excentric locals-excellent Dark Star brews plus 2 or 3 guests and a whole load of continental lagers. Extremely popular with all kinds of folk-oldies, students, albion fans etc-highly recommended-Don't expect a seat mind!

The Princess Louise, Holborn

You'll have to look long and hard the length and breth of the UK for a pub interior as beautiful as this-classic Victorian mirror and tiling, booths and snuggs-top draw
Ale wise it is a Samuel Smiths pub so expect average bitter and excellent crisp lager at much cheaper prices than most London boozers.

The Quayside Inn, Falmouth

Went to this pub last summer, totally changed, a few years back it was real spit and sawdust with old barrels over the down stairs bar and I seem to remember free peanuts at one stage with their 'casings' been randomly scattered on the bar floor-proper cornish seaman pub-reflcting the history of falmouth, i'ts now a souless pastel washed bistro wannabee
If I wanted to go to a slug and lettice I'd go on the lash in Newquay!
Absolute poo-pop pirate!
