The Oak is back in business!! The refurb has left it looking fab and the garden is now most excellent for us smokers now that the nights are getting colder. Can't wait for Dwayne's fire pit!!

If you want to know where all te locals have gone, go to The Anchor.
So sad that Jim and Anne have let the Oak get to this level. It's never been a particularly clean and tidy pub, but then that's part of it's charm. As for the public bar being like that, it's always been like that!!
The sooner Jim and Anne go, the better off The Oak will be.

The Running Horse, Leatherhead
Best pub in Leatherhead. 2 seperare bars - public and saloon. Great food and lots of it! These portions are not for the fait hearted! Steak Night on Thursdays are particularly good.
CAMRA hold their meetings here so that says alot about the ale. Usually have 5 - 6 ales on at any one time.
Friendly staff, of which I was one for a few months, so I have to say that!
Check out this pub. You won;t find a better one in Leatherhead.

The Anchor, Bookham
I would like to thank the Anchor for onece again taking in us waifs and strays from The Oak while the refurb was being done!!
