Do NOT set foot inside this pub unless you fancy getting garrotted by a negro savage.

The Quays, Holloway

Norf London chavs? How dare they go in a pub in north London. It is a nicely done up pub but can get too packed at weekends the doormen seem to cram in as many people as they can so it gets a sardine tin feel to the place and can get very hot in there.

The Duke of Hamilton, Hampstead

An oasis in the barren desert of blandness that is Hampstead.Decent down to earth locals who make you feel at home if you dont go in there and look down your nose at them.

The Boston Arms, Tufnell Park

A great spit and sawdust boozer and immune form the souless gastro pubs with people sitting in armchairs reading the Guardian.Recommend going in there when the Arsenal are playing has a community feel to it

The Shaftesbury, Holloway

Used to be a decent down to earth boozer Sky Sports pool tables etc but now seems to have been taken over and turned into a gastro pub for the yuppies who are pricing the folk who have lived there all their lives out of the area. The expression mutton dressed up as lamb not the best place to leave at night with the drunks and muggers who inhabit the park across the road.Doesnt really suit the area if you want a gastro pub check out Crouch End
