Excellent stopping point after racing at Sandown, even if the bar area can get a little crowded. Nice hidden boozer

The Kings Head, Teddington

An up and down few months has seen this pub slip down the Teddington pub hierarchy. There was a farce when Massive pubs went under, a new management team came in for a month, then couldnt afford to buy the pub, so got kicked out and new owners were found, who re-installed the previous manager and staff! Meanwhile the Clockhouse had opened down the road, catering for a similar crowd and so the KH has lost a good amount of business, and hence some of its atmosphere. Still has its place in Teddington's drinking community, but its crown has slipped somewhat. Good quiz on a Sunday night still though.

The Clock House, Teddington

Used a complete hell hole around which the vermin of surrounding areas swarmed. However, since a complete refurbishment meaning you wouldnt recognise it as the old place, the Clockhouse is now a very pleasant place to spend a few hours. Lovely open fire and a terrace which looks like it will be very pleasant in the summer if its not crowded with smokers.

The Builders Arms, Teddington

The 'new' landlady has really improved this place and its now a really nice local pub. Quite a mixed crowd from old guys doing the crossword nursing a pint, to the younger element playing pool etc, but all blend quite easily. Good roast on a Sunday too.
