The Willoughby, Leamington Spa

Remember it when it was Styles Apart, it was full of chavs pretty much like Murphy's and the Birch and Billycock (Voodoo)

Nice now, Steve Haines plays House in there which is good, people don't know how good they have it, he's a top dj showcasing the most up front of tunage, got potential to be the new Winstons if they hammered out some trance hehe

O2, Leamington Spa

I can remember it as far back as being called The Top Of The Town! Remember it called the Jeckyl and Hyde too!!!

But it was always the BEST when it was Winstons!!!

I'm talking 94-97 when it was rammed, the dance tunes were pumpin, it took you like 30 mins to get to the loo and back, they served WOBBLERS and RUMBLERS, and triples and mixers on the hour every hour!!!!!

There was a fir lad behind the bar who used to wear a white shirt and he used to come down Monroes afterwards and dance on the podium all night, can't remember his name but i've seen him around wearing a suit!

I know why everyone stopped going after the refit. They changed their music policy to R&B and everyone pissed off to the White Horse.

I've been in about 3 times in the last 8 years and it could do with livening up! Get some trance in there that's what Leamington needs!

The Loose Box, Leamington Spa

Haha..loving the comments on here...i actually went to school with the manager (i think he's the manager anyway!)

I'm not much of a Leam drinker these days but popped in a few weeks ago as it was someones leaving do...and my god hasn't it changed! I remember the good old days of the Coach and Horses...when it was in 2 sections, blastaways and the dj behind the bar lol, and a little later on when it used to be packed with lads in YSL shirts haha...yeah i know..shoiwng my age!! :O

The drinks seemed reasonably priced, mind you i was drinking coke. It seemed a nice atmosphere overall what with the ethnic vibe and low lighting...as for the the music - it wasn't bad at all, one of the old Crazy Daisys lads was djing - Mark Gozdeki, and it was pretty much background music, ideal for just chilling and chatting while enjoying a nice cold drink.

8/10 this was a Fri night though, i've not attempted a Sat night out in Leam for a long time.

JTs Bar and Cafe, Banbury

JT's is by far the best pub in Banbury! :)

Slightly biased view i know, but you have a fantastic landlord, and staff, excellent entertainment, the locals are all mental, you feel at home, and it's never a dull moment.

Give me JT's over Yates's any day!
