Day times are for kids too you miserable old git!!

My son is not ungrateful, i had promised him them! He was not even upset, I was by the crap customer service there!! i just assumed we would get what we wanted (and they had all the ingredients- just not the minerals to satisfy their customers, as all the reviews show!!)

The aggressive attitude of the manager to what was just a joke (i will bring my own cheese and grater next time!!)

You were once a kid too don't forget! Just you have turned into a sad twisted old man!!

Go to your old mans pub and grab your slippers!!

Bring back decent pubs and stop these bland boring chains with no brains management making a profit!!

Shepherd and Dog in Fulking is soooo much better!

Just reading the other BAD reviews (i bet the good ones are written by management from the looks of it!!) Cannot believe that dogs are not allowed in if even a small area of the pub!!!
Surely as it is one of the most beautiful dog walks in the area this is madness!!

ROBOT! ROBOT! ROBOT!!
I have always enjoyed coming to this pub for a drink and to eat a little warming food after what is quite often a windy walk! Such a let down this time though (new management i think) - my 3 year old son was intent on having cheesy chips (as that is what i mentioned to him before entering the pub!) only to be told by the staff that NO we cannot have cheesy chips! Apparently i could have cheesy garlic bread but as cheesy chips were not on the menu they could not help! I offfered to pay 1 extra just for the cheese but still told NO!! I wish i had ordered the bread and scraped the cheese off for the chips!!(only thought of it after!!) I spoke to the manager as i found it a completely stupid rule and he just advised that the 210 pubs in this chain do not serve cheesy chips to keep teenagers out! Just another case of robotic type management with no customer friendliness or even trying to help satisfy a 3 year old boy desperate for cheesy chips!! Apparently they are trying to raise the class of the restaurant (LMFAO!!! ) and to keep families with kids out!!! Such a pity management are not allowed or even try to use their own brains these days and lower the level of customer service with stupidness like this!! I asked if i took my own grater and block of cheese next time (as a little joke) and he told me very rudely then i will not be allowed in!! - Time for a FLASH MOB!! me thinks!! Arm yourselves with cheese and graters and lets all have cheesy chips together!! Power in numbers!! The shame of it is that we go there a lot and i have given them a fair bit of custom over the 20 years i have lived here, but not anymore... Will go to the Shepherd and Dog in Fulking in future as this is a very pleasant and personal feeling pub where the staff seem to bend over backwards to make your day!! I do not normally complain but if there are ridiculous managers with ridiculous rules then i will! Who else is up for the flash mob then?

Such a pity small stupid things like this can be such a wind up!! But then maybe the management does not realise how a 3 year old can be if you break your promise to them!!

ROBOTIC management INDEED!
