The Bunch of Grapes, London Bridge

Excellent patio/underground area for smokers, pretty busy when i was there (a wednesday night) and a bit understaffed, but on the whole not bad at all.

The Ramblers Rest, Chipstead

Not what i was expecting in a rural(ish) area. Very modern and well fitted out, with a decent patio area for smokers and walkers. On the expensive side if you drink lager @3.75 a pint. Nice to go for a couple of quiet ones, will certainly use again

Tudor Rose, Coulsdon

Urrgh, didn't like this pub much, too many signs , saying dont do this, dont do that everywhere which is off putting. Nothing overly wrong, but not too much right.

The Dukes Head, Tadworth

Very good food, huge portions, good friendly staff, very pleasant all round.

Ship, Monument

Really liked this particularly the upstairs. The alley is sheltered outside and even has an ashtray for us outcasts! which is handy

The Walrus and Carpenter, Monument

not bad, nice and warm on a cold day, very clean and decent beers, very hard to get seated in the afternoon

O'Neills, Sutton

If you are over 30, probably the best bet at the top of sutton for a stress free night

O'Neill's, Wallington

Do a good guiness red, normally pretty quiet and can be a bit intimidating if you are on your own, but on the whole the best of the 4 pretty poor pubs in wallington, walk down the road to carshalton village for a better night out
