The Albion, Hove

Friends of mine have been threatened in here for being 'gay'. They weren't but hardly the point.

The Prince Albert, Brighton

Could well be the best pub in Brighton. despite previous poster's comment the decor is lovely (modern patterned wallpapers, signed original posters but local and famous bands that have played the space upstairs, wood floors and roaring fires in the bar room. The layout is much like a house, with seperate rooms which makes for intimate evenings or rowdy parties dependant on the crowd. The food is almost second to none - bar The George, which ia veggie only - on this road - try the homemade burger and chips!
Brilliant live music - especially Club Kovak which is always good for a laugh.

I wish this was my local but at least it's close to where I work.

The Battle of Trafalgar, Brighton

Nice pub - lovely summer garden, friendly staff and a resident pub dog. Food is great - especially fish fingers, chips and beans and burgers! Only griper is the toilets seem a lot to be desired, as with most boozers in Brighton!

The Lord Nelson, Brighton

This pub is a bit spit and sawdust, with smelly toilets and a tiny bar. The staff find it difficult to keep abreast of everyone as the bar is kind of in-the-round and was three or four deep last time I was there on a Friday night. Great burgers though!

The Foundry, Brighton

This is now the Foundry, and a very nice pub it is too. I would recommend for Friday night drinks with an eclectic, friendly crowd and happy, fast wrokign staff!

The Druids Head, Brighton

This pub used to do the cheapest and best bean burgers in town. Don't anymore I don't think. Still nice though.

The George, Brighton

Amazing food. I'm practically a carnivore but I have a great time whenever I'm come to this pub for lunch. The club sandwich with halloumi and veggie bacon is delicious and HUGE! The nachos are to die for. The drinks and atmosphere are great as well. Only samll gripe is that the garden could do with sprucing up to bring it to same standard as rest of the building.

The Hand In Hand, Brighton

Brilliant little boozer - feels a bit like being in someone's front room - about forty years ago! Roast potatos, cheese, pickles and crackers on the bar on Sundays, a pub dog and fab ale - what more could you want?!! There a great mix of old queens, hilarious pensioners, 'cool' students and everythiingin between but as far as I've seen NEVER any trouble.
