Smashing pub. Good selection of ales - all in splendid nick. Knowledgable bar staff and for you fatboys, the food's very good too.

The Elephant and Castle, Amwell
It IS cliquey, but I don't mind that. The IPA and another were okay, which is my main concern.
We won't be rushing back, however, because of the attitude of the barman on our last visit. If I wanted Basil Fawlty, I'd watch UK Comedy Gold.

The Candlestick, West End
Refurbished and now open selling excellent Red Squirrel RSX (pronounced Arse Sex) and two other real ales. Small menu of good food and bar snacks. I love it.
