Lovely little pub, good beer, great staff and an eclectic mix of punters...The only criticism would be that the food is not that varied, but who cares, the beer is great.

Decent boozer but not a patch on the old Bacchus...when i visited the place last week for the 1st time in ages I was expecting a refurb., not a demolition/rebuild job. What was once a fantastic toon pub is now an overpriced wine bar! However the staff/food/beer remains good quality.

Only two words to describe this place; "BEER HEAVEN." Never mind the poor immitations, poncy wannabees and corporate brewery crap that we are all so used to. In short, this place is a proper fuc*in PUB. Enjoy:-)
