The beers are little on the expensive side, and the bar staff don't exactly go out of their way to serve the patrons in a 'first come, first served' order, but other than that it's not a bad place, and at least feels like less of a tourist trap than other bars and pubs in and around the South Bank.

I'm glad I hadn't read the reviews on here before I went to Studio 6 the other night because I may well have not gone, and to be honest, I had a good night there, in spite of the fact that my wife got a bit too drunk and a bit too loud. The place has been decorated since the photo above was taken, so it now has a nice feel to the place, but sitting outside in the sunshine and the river just yards away was really pleasant. You could have almost forgotten you were still in London. The beer was good if not a little on the pricey side and yes the staff dont speak English as a first Language but there are lots of pubs in London like this, the service could be more slick. I didnt eat there, but the food did look very good and just across the way is a fantastic looking creperie, which is well worth a visit as you stagger home.

Am not sure if the staff has changed, as I went in November and the staff were v nice, helpful and quick. Great strawberry beer aswell :)

This place has very poor bar service - slow & unfriendly. Also, when I received a very flat pint of lager (after having received 2 nice, frothy ones) I asked if they could change it. The barmaid was surly & unsympathetic, insisting that the flat pint was indeed frothy & fizzy. She then stirred the pint with a knife to show that it was 'fizzy'. I was not impressed. She eventually changed the pint for another brand, after much fuss. They have no concept of keeping paying customers happy. Also, the stark interior & lack of soft furnishings make for poor acoustics, making it hard to hear your friends on the other side of the table. Not recommended.

I have eaten at this place several times for many reasons...the main being it is located close to work. The customer service is the worst that I personally have experienced since being in London this past year. The servers barely speak english and understand you. This is if they come to serve you. I have found the food to be quite good but it can not be backed up by good management or servers. The management is always right and the customer always wrong. It is a sad thing since the food is good. As a woman I am personally offended when the wait staff ignore me, not once looking or directing a question towards me, especially when I was paying the bill, and then returned it to be signed by male companion. The last time there we were refused service because the weather had been rainy and told it was dangerous to eat outside. I believe this place thrives on location alone, not by customer loyalty or customer service. P.S. it didn't rain the rest of the afternoon and with 12 people in our group they lost alot of revenue. Unheard of from a business persspective.
