| Been here twice three times for the comedy nights. Saw Simon Munnery the last time. Which was brilliant. For those who are not knowledgeable of British comedies more out-there comic greats this is the equivalent of going for a quiet night out on a Thursday, going down your local and finding that you have been magically transported to a magically magic place and Richard Pryor, Eddie Izzard and Bill Hicks are doing a gig upstairs and it only costs a fiver to get in. Also saw an Irish woman bare her bum on stage. P.s as for its "Pubness" it does its job. sef - 12 Jun 2007 22:27 |

| Went in there last night for the first time to book a party for my mates girlfriend (we only planned to be in there for 5 minutes) but ended up going and watching the comedy night upstairs which was very funny. Niall the Govenor of the pub is a top bloke he brought me and my mate a pint and a shot and we ended up sitting and chatting and drinking with him until half 1 this morning having a top laugh. I now have a severe hangover at work but it was well worth it one of the best nights out in a long time. Im going to make a point of going up there more . Its a little gem in Archways crown.
